科茲窩的兩天住宿，在行程大致規劃後，我們選擇落腳水上波頓(Bourton-on-the-water)，

找到的一家民宿-Chestnut Bed and Breakfast(板栗B&B)，位於水上波頓的中心，

一走出來就是最熱門的 River Windrush 觀光熱區。

傍晚回到這，仍舊可以跟鴨鴨嬉耍一下，

更可在一大早觀光客尚未湧入時，享受清幽的世外桃源時光。

Chestnut Bed and Breakfast(板栗B&B) 是一棟擁有300年歷史的二級受保護建築，

沒有電梯，只有狹窄的樓梯，在歐洲搬行李「上」飯店或民宿房間儼然成為旅行的必要技能。

我們的房間在三樓，高度不是問題，倒是內部峰迴路轉的格局容易叫人迷失方向。

其次，我想因為是棟300年的建築，我們一進三樓木頭地板的房間內，就感覺到地板不是平的!!

兩晚就在這有著些微傾斜的房間睡下，也是種新奇體驗。

再來說個洗澡的小插曲。

這浴室的淋浴間，堪稱是我這輩子洗過「最迷你」的了!!

人進去這方形小淋浴間，就差不多「滿」了。 

我跟老公兩人身材勉強湊合著還行，

但吃早餐時看著隔壁大隻的歐美人士，心裡著實納悶著他們是「如何進去淋浴間」的。

（非歧視身材，只是要強調這淋浴間真的小到一個極限呀!!!）

再來就是，我們房間的熱水器故障，只有高溫的熱水可使用，

旅館主人權宜之計，第一晚請我們到隔壁房間使用，

原來隔壁房間是一位在附近打工的女孩子在這邊長期租賃所居住。

也因此，在 check out 時，旅館主人深感歉意，只打算收取住宿一晚的費用，

我們當然堅持支付兩晚啦！ 但也可看出主人是很有良心的唷！ 

當時在 Chestnut Bed and Breakfast(板栗B&B) 住上兩晚的費用是 NTD6,442，

有專屬的停車位、包含早餐及房間基本設施，CP值挺高的。

旅館主人很親切、房間溫馨，房客請小心&小聲腳步。

一樓有間 The Chestnut Tree - Tearoom & Licensed Restaurant，不確定是否為同老闆所經營。
